WELCOME TO OUR BLOG

2023 on

Welcome to our third blog.  This is our third and newest Blog of our travels.  Most of our travels from 2002 to 2017 are covered in the first two blogs.  In 2017 we sold our motorhome, bought a fifth wheel, and became seasonal campers in a campground in Vermont.  This blog contains all those events and side trips from 2023 on.  From here, you can also go to any attraction in Florida during the winter months that we visited.  If you wish to view our previous blogs, click on the links to the right below "About Us".

Asian Lantern Festival - January 4, 2024

Central Florida Zoo, Sanford, FL

The yearly event here in Florida is the Asian Lantern Festival.  We went with our friends from New Jersey who loved it.  Displays of such beautiful colors, animated figures and fireworks.  It was really nice walking through the zoo enjoying all the colored lights.  The Phoenix display that replaced the Dragon last year was awesome.  What a sight.  Another beautiful event.

About Us

Jack & Loretta

We are a couple that worked for 30 years,

retired and decided to buy a motor home and travel throughout the U.S.  So, we retired, moved to Florida, bought a motor home and traveled each summer for the next 18 years.

Then in 2017 we decided to settle down somewhere for the summer months instead of traveling and sold our motor home and purchased a fifth-wheel to become "seasonal campers" at the Moose River campground in St. Johnsbury, Vermont.  It's great and we are having a great time enjoying and doing stuff around the campground and taking day trips around the area.
