Jack's sister and her friend, Linda came up for a visit. We spent a week showing them around, playing cards and enjoying the cooler weather. They even joined Mary and I at bingo and they joined us at our annual pig roast. Here are some of the stuff we saw.
A painted back door and umbrellas on a side street in Littleton, NH
Paint job on a house in Littleton, NH that I thought was really neat.
Visiting the Birdman
Edmon is a hoot. He loves visitors and will show you all around his home. He will make you any kind of bird you want. Linda bought one.
Joe's Pond, Vermont
We walked around Joe's Pond, walked across the street where the statue of the "Lone Sentry of Joe's Pond" stands watch. We walked over Joe's Pond Memorial Bridge, built in 1977 in honor of all those past and present, who have contributed to the spirit of this community.
Dog Mountain, Vermont
One day we took them to Dog Mountain to see the Chapel. I am so impressed with this place, so many people tape notes and messages, all over the walls and even the ceiling, to their dearly departed animals.
Cog Railway, Mount Washington, New Hampshire
We went through the museum at the Cog Railway and watched as three trains left for their trip to the top.
Pig Roast Pot Luck
They joined us at the annual pig roast and as usual, it was great with lots of different food, salads and lots of desserts.
We really enjoyed showing them around our "second home", sightseeing around the area and their company. Great to have you here.
