August 26, 2022 - Victory Bog is the Victory Basin Wildlife Management Area (WMA) that is a 4,970-acre wetland and forest complex owned by the state of Vermont. August 6, 2022 - This weekend we celebrated Mary and Gary owning the campground for 25 years. That is a long time for a private campground. We had two half sheet cakes and ice cream during the day and a spread of meat, cheese, vegetables, bread, fruit and dips, shrimp, and chicken wings. The local distillery put on a display of their flavored rums, gin and beer you could taste test. They also would make cocktails for $7 each. Apparently, they did well because they asked

July 30, 2022 - We had a chili contest this weekend. Mary set up for six contestants and five showed up. She gave each a stew pot to put the chili in so no one would know their own chili by the pot/crockpot. After taste testing all five samples, we voted for the best to the worst then enjoyed a bowl for dinner. Four people were seasonal campers, including me, and one weekly camper. The weekly camper won first place, and she gave me her recipe. Boy, you wouldn't believe
