This weekend we celebrated Mary and Gary owning the campground for 25 years. That is a long time for a private campground. We had two half sheet cakes and ice cream during the day and a spread of meat, cheese, vegetables, bread, fruit and dips, shrimp, and chicken wings. The local distillery put on a display of their flavored rums, gin and beer you could taste test. They also would make cocktails for $7 each. Apparently, they did well because they asked to come back again. We then had a DJ entertain us with music while we sat around a huge bonfire. It was 88 degrees all day but most of us still sat around a large bonfire. Hey, we are camping.
