We had a good train trip and even arrived early. We spent three days driving from Virginia to Vermont. Mary had sent me pictures throughout the winter of the campground and our fifth-wheel covered in snow; sure glad we didn't come up any earlier. BUT when we got here the snow was gone replaced by mud. I don't know which is worse. The river was really up and running wild. Our site did get flooded but by all the rain, not the river. The second day we were here we were back on our site and all set up again. Now we have been helping get the rest of the rigs back on their sites and making sure everything is defrosted and back in working order. Needless to say, there are always things that break and need to be replaced. There is so much to do to get a campground ready for the summer, even if there wasn't any damage. I have been helping Mary with getting the office back in order and playing cards (She still beats me) and Jack has really helped the guys cleaning up the campground. We are both looking forward to the summer.
