The New England Golden Jubilee is held annually the third weekend of May and is a celebration of the Golden Retriever. It is held to benefit the Morris Animal Foundation Golden Retriever Lifetime Study and Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue. This past weekend Dog Mountain was host to this Jubilee. They said there must have been nearly 300 dogs there and 25 were staying at the campground. It is a day for the dogs to play, swim and have their owners show them off. The dogs are beautiful and those in the campground sure enjoyed lots of loving from everyone. We didn't go up to the mountain but I posted several pictures taken by the event photographer.
