Strawberry Shortcake Laid Back Weekend

Tons of strawberries, shortcakes and plenty of whipped cream, ymmmmmm!

Father's Day Weekend

We all enjoyed a great luck dinner of BBQ fried chicken.

Water Wars Weekend

A few brave souls participated in the water wars and boy did they get soaked. Mary provided some "soakers" to use. As you can see, some came prepared

Wine & Cheese Party

There was a lot more than just cheese. We had to bring our own wine, no problem!

4th of July Weekend

We had our 4th of July Roast Beef potluck. The roast beef was cooked to perfection and there were plenty of salads. 39 campers enjoyed the meal, and each was given roast beef to take home. After dinner we were entertained by Larry Ebere, a really good country music singer and a huge bonfire. The temperature has been in the high 80's/90's but we still had to have a bonfire.

It's hot, hot, hot here. Temps have climbed to 92-93 degrees today and the humidity is high, and it's not expected to change until Friday. No one was out and about today either and everyone stayed inside trying to keep cool. Mary and I played cards this morning but by noon it was just too hot to continue, and I think the cards were wilting and kept sticking to our fingers. Can't wait for Friday and cooler temps.....

Labor Day Weekend

We had a great day with a Paint & Sip class, a ham pot luck dinner, a huge bonfire and music.

And the ham was delicious

Memorial Day Weekend

We played a different game where these big balls of plastic wrap had to be unwrapped to find prizes hidden inside. There were two tables, five people at each, and had to unwrap the ball until the music stopped. Then we passed it to the next person. We unwrapped small prizes and the last one to unwrap the ball won $10. Pam was that person. It was lots of fun.
