Water leak under our deck

Oops, there's a water leak under our deck

A few weeks ago the campground owners said the cost of water increased for no reason except there had to be a leak. So, they tested all the sites and found a small one at one of the sites. It didn't seem like this small leak would have caused the increase. It rained a few days later and our bricks were wet, but they continued to look wet even after three days of no rain and sunny weather. Jack thought someone had spilled something on them and when he went to clean them, he stepped on the white stone on the side and water came squirting up. Looks like a leak was coming from under our deck. We removed the stone and Gary got the excavator, picked up half of the deck and dug a hole where the pipe was. Sure enough, there was a large pin-hole leak. Now it's all fixed and our deck is back in place. This was the leak that caused the increase in the water bill. We were just happy it wasn't under our fifth-wheel.

Our bricks were wet for three days, somethings not right...

See all the water...

Look at all that water

We lifted half the deck so it can be removed

Norm drives the tractor to lift the deck up as Gary directs him

We sure had a lot of water - We found the leak

Gary dug out the dirt to expose the pipe

Gary had to dig the rest of the dirt out by hand

Here's the leak. Seems like such a small leak but even this small amount leaks a lot of water

Fixing the leak

Gary used the excavator to fill the hole back in

Once the dirt was back, Jack leveled the ground

Then Norm replaced the deck as Jack directs him
