September 11th - The 2026 Mount Washington light show is “The Honor Summit,” a 9/11 25th anniversary tribute with two beams of light from the summit each night from Sept. 9–12, 2026, from 8 PM to midnight. The Honor Summit is a 9/11 remembrance and unity event honoring the lives lost, first responders, and veterans who continue to protect communities." The two vertical light beams rising from the 6,288‑ft summit of Mount Washington and was said to be visible up to ~130–135 miles away on clear nights.
