Country Western Night - 7-19-25

July 19, 2025 - Tonight, there is a western country party, and everyone was told to bring something. Jack decided he wanted to go; go figure, so, I made my pineapple pudding dessert and headed out. There weren’t any hot dinner type dishes, only finger foods, chips, salads, cheese & crackers, dips and lots of cookies, bars and brownies and my pineapple pudding.  Jack had something to eat before we went and was glad he did.  They had a DJ playing music, mostly country western and his partner taught everyone a few line-dancing routines.  They also had a roping contest with a wooden cow which I tried and missed, a race on blow-up horses through safety bumpers, and a vote for the best costume.  They also had a 50/50 and a $25 certificate.  We didn’t win on any of it but it was still fun.
