The campground stayed open a week longer this year which was good for them after having to close down due to the flooding and mud slides. We don't plan to stay as long from now on because I really don't like the cold weather, and it was getting cold in October. Our flight was uneventful, great news, and not even any turbulence. My sister-in-law and her husband picked us up at the airport and we treated them to lunch for doing so. Everything at the house was just fine, except for being a little warm inside. Now, we have temperatures in the 80's, normal for Florida, but after being cold all month, a welcome change for us.
Now, we are just enjoying our Florida lives as we always do for the winter. Hope everyone has had a very merry Christmas and happy New Year. See you all next summer.
