Stuff Around Camp

September has arrived and this month there is not a lot of activities going on. Usually, this is the time for the leaves to change but this year it seems they refuse to leave the trees. So far, there is only green or brown leaves and only one branch on one tree that's red. Now they say it won't be until October 10th before the leaves change.

Labor Day we had a ham dinner with lots of salads and desserts enjoyed by over 40 people, a country singer for entertainment and a huge bonefire.

I tried out a Vitual Reality headset that one of the campers had. The effects were pretty neat and we played partner's in mini golf. I even rode a roller coaster that really messed with my senses. Mary enjoys fishing.

Mary's sister came up for a visit and brought cookies she made in the shape of a Moose. She did a really good job.

Car Show - September 24

We went to a car show in Littleton, New Hampshire. There were some nice cars there but not very big.

Victory Bog - September 24

The girls and I went for a ride up to Victory Bog. Victory Bog is the Victory Basin Wildlife Management Area (WMA) that is a 4,970-acre wetland and forest complex owned by the State of Vermont. If anyone in Vermont wants to see a moose, this is usually the place but not for us this time.

Sarah and I walking the pathway. I think we are being watched...Actually, Joann is an expert on Photo Shop and put the bear in.

We also drove up to Shadow Lake. What a view!
