Fall Comes to the Campground

It's the end of September and the cooler air is coming in. Gary and his helpers cut wood to keep up with the demand for firewood and the campground was decorated for the Fall season with hay bails and pumpkins. On Saturday we celebrated Halloween with a pot luck dinner, a pumpkin carving contest and a site decorating contest. Jack carved a pumpkin of a moose and won first place.

Gary and Norm cut and split the wood using a tractor to power the belt

Gary moves the table to cut the wood. Even a dog enjoys a good bonfire.
